AMP’s mission is to provide students with advanced professional photography, video and audio production skills at a low tuition cost. AMP’s affordable tuition allows students to invest in their own equipment needed to begin working immediately after graduation. It just makes sense!

DIRECTORS

Paul Chiacchierini is the founder and owner of AMP, established in 2007. With over 30 years of experience as a recording engineer and music producer, he has contributed to a discography of more than 50 full-length albums. His career also spans work in the television and film industries, and more recently, he has expanded his creative pursuits as a professional motorsport photographer. Paul currently serves as School Director and teaches across all three programs offered at AMP.

Bill Chenaille is the President and Director of Video Production here at AMP. His career in photography and video began in 1991 while working as a director at the Hallmark Institute of Photography. In 2005, Bill transferred to Boston University’s Center for Digital Imaging Arts where he held the position of Director of Outreach and instructor. He valuable experience in learning how to communicate with the industry to insure the school’s curriculum met the needs of the corporations hiring graduates.
Now as the President of the Academy For Media Production, he oversees the development and teaching of the Photography and Video Production department, along with assisting students in job placement.

Carolyn Chenaille is the Director of Photography here at AMP. Her career in photography began in 1989 while working as a photographer for Flashback Studios in Ocean City, MD. In 1999, Carolyn became the owner of Chenaille Photo & Video Studios where she specialized in all areas of portrait and commercial Photography.
Now as the Director of Photography at the Academy For Media Production, she teaches all forms of professional photography. Her strengths are also in mentoring students to become successful professionals.
LOCAL WORK
AMP’s students work with area businesses to add to their real-world experiences while still in school. This makes them more attractive to employers who seek “experience” when looking for qualified candidates for employment. AMP students have provided digital media services to the following:
ABOUT THE AREA
Hanover, Pennsylvania is known as the "snack food capital of the United States," and has been featured many times on networks such as the Food Network. Companies such as Utz’s Quality Foods, Snyder’s of Hanover, Hershey Chocolates, Hanover Foods, Wolfgang Candy, Martin’s Potato Chips, among others are located right here in the vicinity. The area has very low crime statistics, and students enjoy a high degree of safety while attending AMP and living in the surrounding communities.
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania is located only 15 minutes west of AMP, giving students local access to famous battlegrounds and museums of the American Civil War. The area provides fantastic locations for shooting photo and video projects, blending urban aesthetics with picturesque countrysides.
OUR FACILITY
AMP is housed in a newly-renovated 7,200 square foot facility located in the old McSherrystown (Hanover), PA Firehouse. The Academy sports state-of-the-art photography and recording studios that students utilize on a daily basis.
The Academy's photography studio has a 50-foot cyclorama wall, 1 large bay door for large product photography (such as automobiles), and 1200 square feet of floor space for students to use for photo & video productions.
