The Academy for Media Production’s Online Video Certificate is designed for those of you who want a short-term, highly advanced certification that can be obtained from the comfort of home. If you already possess a strong understanding of manual exposure and basic video, this class is definitely for you. No wasted time boring you with the skills you already have; we will dive right in and cover the following topics:

- Advanced study of Light: Hard vs Soft, Color, Angles, etc…
- Advanced Workflow: How to organize your files
- Frame Rates: standard, high & low comparisons
- Aspect Ratios, Resolution & Compression
- Color Grading in production & post
- Tripod, Stabilizers & camera movements
- Focus control
- The “Shot” (lenses, angles, framing & shot sizes)
- Audio for Video
- Adobe Premiere Pro
Required Equipment
- Mirrorless or DSLR camera
- 2 video lights with light stands
- Tripod with video head
- Audio Recording device (smartphone acceptable)
